Buxton Edale Snatch Squad called to evacuate a 13 year old girl from Birmingham, who was attending a summer camp in Edale. She was walking with others when she tripped and injured her ankle, immobilising her.
The girl was located by members of the mountain rescue team on Peat Moor, South West of the summit of Grindslow Knoll.   Her injuries were assessed and treated on site, and then she was evacuated by stretcher to an air ambulance and flown to the Chesterfield …

Buxton Edale snatch squad called to evacuate a climber who had fallen and sustained an ankle injury.   Treated on site by team members and transferred to the air ambulance for evacuation to hospital.

Search dog Megan called to assist Derby MRT in a search for a missing, 43 year old vulnerable male last seen the previous day.  The missing man was located in a grass verge by the roadside by a member of the public and was evacuated to hospital for treatment. Search dogs and team stood down.

Buxton Edale snatch squad called immediately from the previous incident to attend a 20 year old male from Salisbury who sustained a fracture of the lower leg when he fell ca 15 metres from Flying Buttress.  After treatment on site by Air Ambulance paramedics and team doctors, the casualty was evacuated by stretcher to the roadhead and taken by air ambulance to Chesterfield for further treatment.

Buxton Edale snatch squad called to evacuate 20 year old female who suffered a neck injury whilst preparing to climb on Birchins.  After treatment by MR members, the casualty was evacuated by stretcher to the roadhead and taken to Chesterfield for further treatment.
