Stanage

The Buxton team members were placed on “stand-by” ready to assist Edale MRT following the report of a female having collapsed whilst walking on Stanage Edge.  However, her walking group managed to assist her down to the road and consequently mountain rescue was not required and stood down.  The lady was assessed by an Edale team doctor before being transported to hospital by East Midlands Ambulance Service.
