Leadmill, Hathersage

Buxton MRT called to rendezvous at Coppice Wood, Leadmill on the B6001, Hathersage to Grindleford road.  Not normally Buxton’s operational patch at weekend but Edale MRT was already committed to another call-out.   Buxton had members fund-raising in Castleton and were quickly responding.

The report was of a runner taking part in the High Peak Triathlon having suffered an ankle injury whilst crossing a river.  However, not being far from the road, the casualty had already been treated by an ambulance crew before the first team members arrived.   The remainder of the team were stood down on route.
