Incident report

Buxton Mountain Rescue Team called to the lower tier of The Roaches following a request for assistance from West Midlands Ambulance Service.

A twenty two year old female from Nantwich, Cheshire, had been second up a classic HVD route “Yong” when she fell approximately three metres striking the ground.   The ambulance crew were first on scene and treated the lady for potential pelvic, neck and ankle injuries.  On arrival of the rescue team the casualty was placed on to a stretcher and carried down to the road where the ambulance was waiting to transfer her to a Staffordshire hospital.
