Incident report

A joint Buxton Edale snatch squad was called to a walking incident near Bretton CLough.

The casualty, a lady walking with a group, had slipped on a muddy path and sustained a lower leg/ankle injury. The injury was treated on site by the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) paramedic crew and team members. She was then placed into a vacuum mattress and stretcher for evacuation by team members across very slippery terrain to the road head.

A land ambulance transferred her to hospital for further treatment.
