Snatch squad called to evacuate a 52 year old female from North Cym who slipped on damp limestone slab whilst descending the path in knee length boots with a wedge heel. The casualty who sustained a suspected fracture of the left ankle was stretchered off to the roadhead.

Following a request from East Midlands Ambulance, Buxton team were requested to attend Solomon’s Temple to evacuate a 46 year old male who had been found very cold and unconscious near the monument. The team were deployed to the temple but stood down when it was apparent that a passing fell runner had managed to shake the man awake and drag him off the hill to a waiting ambulance.
