Water Company Fills a Bucket

United Utilities, the UK’s largest water company, supplies water to seven million households in the North West and has just filled a bucket for the rescue team.  No, not with water, but with £250 from its Community Partnerships Fund.  The team qualified for the donation through a “matched giving” scheme whereby United Utilities promises to match the sum (up to a set ceiling) raised by its employees for a charity.  Employee and team member Andy Peet has been working hard in his own time and this year has raised over £360 and so qualified for the company bonus donation.

Thank you Andy, and thank you United Utilities.
