Choir hit the right note for the team.

Chapel en le Frith Ladies Choir has been singing together in the High Peak for over forty years and now has a considerable reputation foChapel Ladies Choir Aug 2015 1r its quality and harmony.

However, it was pound notes rather than musical notes which the ladies brought to Buxton team’s base last Thursday night.  The choir had adopted the rescue team as its charity of the year and managed to raise a magnificent £851 through various events and concerts.  Three ladies represented the choir for the presentation and were probably surprised to be met by The Mayor of High Peak and a BBC news crew.  The cheque presentation took place just before the official commissioning of the team’s new vehicle so the Mayor and news crew were pleased to be able to join in the event.

The team sends a huge “Thank You” to all the members of the ladies choir and to all who have supported their concerts making the donation possible.Van Commisioning and BBC_3_small
