This Saturday, 12th December, team members will be in the quaint limestone village of Castleton for the team’s annual Christmas Collection.

All the shops are bursting with Christmas goodies and as evening encroaches the village is brightly lit with dozens of Christmas trees.   The local church is holding a Christmas Fair during the afternoon and its late night shopping for all the gift and Blue John shops. 

The weather forecast is bright if cold so it should be a perfect family day out to get you in the mood for Christmas.   You might even get to see Father Christmas on his sledge (Hope Valley Round Table) if he happens to be passing by.

Watch out for Santa’s little helpers, cunningly disguised in mountain rescue jackets, who will be hoping you can spare a little loose change to throw in the bucket.
