Bollington Brewery

There was no shortage of volunteers when members of Buxton Mountain Rescue Team were invited by Bollington BreweryBollington Brewery web July 2016_edited-1 to help support this year’s Bollington Three Peaks Race.
The races takes in a 5.7 mile loop around the tops of Kerridge Hill, White Nancy and Nab Hill and is the only fell race in the U.K. to start and finish at a brewery.  As you can imagine it’s a very popular event.
Always happy to support a brewery, team members were pleased to attend a B.B.Q. on Tuesday evening at which they were presented with a cheque for £750 from the brewery.  The grand donation being the proceeds of the race.
The rescue team would like to thank everybody from the brewery and all who supported the fell race for the very generous donation.  The money will go into the fundraising pot from which a new response vehicle will be delivered in 2017.
