On Wednesday night team Chairman, Ian Hurst, and team member, Peter Farrer, attended a presentation evening at which three allied charities received £350 each.

The donations totalling £1,050 were made from money raised by Burbage Brass Band at a charity concert at the Palace Hotel on Friday 2nd October.  The other charities to benefit were Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation, and the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air-ambulance.

In saying thank you to the band for its help in raising money, Ian Hurst was able to explain that the money was the final donation needed to fund a £10,000 radio-network upgrade programme.
