A fabulous evening of brass music presented by Buxton’s Burbage Band on Friday night has benefited three separate charities.

Leicestershire & Rutland Air-ambulance, Derbyshire Cave Rescue Organisation, and Buxton Mountain Rescue Team will each receive £350 following the fundraising concert held at the Palace Hotel. 

Buxton team is really appreciative of another local group offering such support.  The money will go directly into the “new radio pot” which is now nearing the brim.  A total of £10,000 is needed to fund the purchase of new and additional sets which the team hope to order later this autumn.

Many thanks to all the Burbage Band members. Thanks also to the Palace Hotel for the free use of their concert room, and a big thank-you to all those who supported the event.
