Incident report

The Rescue Team volunteers were called mid afternoon via the North West Ambulance Service following a report of a young male mountain biker who had injured himself whilst riding in the forest.

The injured rider, supported by his friends and the Rangers managed to get close to a road where the ambulance crew could treat his injuries and get him into the ambulance for onward transport to hospital.

A quick stand down was messaged out to the seventeen team members who had responded to the call out. The team members who had already arrived at the Forest were also stood down, but were treated to hot drinks and biscuits from the Rangers; thank you guys.
