Incident report
Search dog Wren and handler Andy were requested to assist Edale Mountain Rescue Team in the search for a missing person who had become separated from their walking partner. Andy and Wren joined other search dogs from Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team Team, and Edale Mountain Rescue to search the Derwent edges.
Due to the increasing size of the search area, the S92 Maritime and Coastguard Agency was requested, but was unable to take off due to fog.
With this in mind, our Drone section was requested, along with Glossop Mountain Rescue Team.
On arrival at the search control all assets were stood down by Derbyshire Constabulary due to other information received.
