Incident report

Following a call-out initially for Kinder M.R.T., Buxton Mountain Rescue Team was requested to send a group of its members up Crowden Brook from Upper Booth to meet with the casualty party.

A group of walkers had become disorientated on the plateau. They reported themselves as in the area around the Jacobs Ladder but following a phone conversation with the group and the use of SARLOC, their correct position was establish to be the top of Crowden Clough.

Whilst outside Kinder MRT’s normal operational area, the team was already operational so their memberscontinued to the location.  Buxton and Kinder team members met with the lost party and then escorted them down into Edale where their car was parked.
