Incident report

Buxton and Edale Teams’ snatch squad responded to a male mountain biker from Northampton who was taking part in a charity bike ride.  The bike slipped on the wet limestone causing a suspected fractured ankle for the rider. 

First Aid was initially rendered by rescue team members before the casualty was taken by air-ambulance to a Chesterfield hospital.
