Two Peak District dog handlers including our own, Dave Mason with Search Dog Megan, were called by Nottinghamshire police following the discovery of an abandoned car in Sherwood Forest.

The dogs assisted police search teams in woodland and dense undergrowth in the vicinity of the parked car which was known to belong to a high risk missing person from Lincolnshire.  The search concluded at 3.00 pm with nothing having been located but police enquiries will continue.
