A joint Edale & Buxton Snatch Squad call-out to a fallen climber in the Robin Hood’s Buttress area of the gritstone climbing edge.
The casualty, male from Sheffield, was treated for head injuries at the scene before being stretchered and evacuated to hospital by the Yorkshire Air-ambulance.
Treatment at the scene from a doctor from Woodhead Mountain Rescue, who was climbing nearby at the time.
