A call-out for thirty members of the Buxton and Edale Joint Team Snatch Squad.  Rushop Edge April 2016

A thirty-two year old man from Oadby, Leicestershire, had been parascending when he succumbed to a five metre fall.  He landed heavily close to the top of the ridge sustaining shoulder and chest injuries.  Initial treatment was by paramedics from the Warwickshire Air-ambulance and an Edale team doctor.

Following treatment the casualty was carried by rescue stretcher further up the hillside to where the aircraft was waiting on the summit.  The man was then flown to Royal Derby Hospital.
