Incident report

Late on Saturday night Buxton Team was called to assist the police in a search for a vulnerable 33 year old male from the Derby area.

The team was called to Corbar Road, Buxton, following the discovery of his car nearby. Search areas were identified, which included Corbar Woods, Corbar Cross, and Coldsprings Plantation.

Twenty two team members with two search and rescue dogs, together with police officers were deployed into these areas. The missing man later made contact with his family saying he was in Buxton Town Centre. He was collected by police.

The team was stood down.
