Incident report
The team was called to the Roaches after reports of a fallen climber taking a big fall. The climber was located near to the Don Whillans Hut on the lower Tier. He was treated by Paramedics from WMAS and placed on a Mountain Rescue stretcher carried by team members to the waiting WMAS Ambulance for the onward journey to Hospital.

I’m the climber featured in this report. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped out after my fall. I was very lucky to have so many capable and able people look after me that day and thankfully I’m now on the mend. Massive thanks again from myself and my family.
