Incident report

Search Dog Megan and handler, Dave Mason, called to assist  Glossop and Woodhead MRT’s with the search for the driver of a car that had crashed earlier that day on the A628 Woodhead Pass.

Initial police enquiries had failed to locate the driver and concerns were raised for his safety due to the location and prevailing weather conditions. The driver was located by an MRT search section. He was treated for hypothermia and taken to hospital.
