Buxton Search Dog, “Megan” with handler Dave Mason were called at 19.00 hours with three other SARDA dogs/ handlers to support Edale MRT in a search for a missing vulnerable female. The search concentrated on Hallamshire Golf Course which includes large areas of crag and woodland. The search, in cold frosty conditions, was aided by a police helicopter using thermal imaging equipment and the missing woman was eventually located at 21.30 with no physical injuries.
