Local company, Steve’s Tyres and Exhausts, of Dale Road, Buxton, has helped Buxton Mountain Rescue Team secure extra cash to start the new year’s fundraising campaign.

Steve’s Tyres registered the rescue team in tyre manufacturer, Kumho Tyres’, 2012 Cash for Causes programme.  The result was a generous £350 award to the team.  The money will go towards the team’s “Shut That Door” project which aims to renew the vehicle doors at the Dove Holes base.

The team sends a huge thanks to Kumho Tyres for its donation and will be awarding a Certificate of Appreciation to the staff at Steve’s Tyres for their support.
