More bikes!  This time by the hundreds – all taking part or supporting the Tour de France as it passed through Yorkshire and Derbyshire this weekend.

The Peak District Mountain Rescue Organisation was asked to assist in the nightmare of providing marshals and emergency cover on the steep gradients from Holme Valley to Glossop.  Buxton team was pleased to help out. A few members with Mobile Two went over to Holmfirth in the early hours of Sunday to join other rescue teams for the preparations.
