Macclesfield Street Collection

A one day Street Collection in Macclesfield netted the team a magnificent £400.

Last Saturday (5th Aug) was a rare bright summer’s day and members of Buxton Mountain Rescue Team took advantage of the weather on the shopping streets of Macclesfield.  A pre-planned and licenced street collection was held which raised a really amazing sum of just a few pence over £400.  That’s a really good result for the team and will enable the volunteers members to continue their work in helping those in distress in our local outdoor areas.

The rescue team sends a huge “THANK-YOU” to all the people of Maccleafield for their generous support.
