Incident report

The Rescue Team were called out for the second time in 3 hours just after 4pm, on a joint rescue with Derby Mountain Rescue Team and Edale Mountain Rescue Team.

The casualty was a male with a leg injury at the top of Grindslow Knoll. Team members reached the casualty, assessed and treated the injuries and then carried him down to Edale village on a mountain rescue stretcher,  for onward transport to hospital.

It had been a busy day for the volunteers with 2 call outs and assisting with the 4 inns walk, which we are pleased to say, passed off without any significant incidents. Well done to eveyone who took part.
