Incident report

The team was requested by Derbyshire Constabulary, to attend an incident near Waterswallows road. A female had slipped while walking down a steep grassy slope and injured her knee.

The casualty was assessed by team members before being placed on a mountain rescue stretcher for a short carry to a waiting East Midlands Ambulance Service, ambulance.

This was a very difficult job for the team in the current hot weather. Team members were in covid-19 personal protective equipment, and observed social distancing where possible.

The vehicles then returned to base for cleaning in line with our Covid-19 policies in readiness of the next callout.

The team would like to thank Lomas Distribution Limited for their assistance.
