Incident report

Buxton team initially called to search for a missing male from a local school who had become separated from the remainder of his group on an expedition for his GCSE in Outdoor Pursuits. The nature of the incident changed when the male rung in on the 999 system stating he had hurt his ankle and was making his way towards Panniers Pool. The team were assembled and ready to deploy when one of the local farmers informed the team that the casualty had walked into their farm having seen their lights in the darkness. The casualty was examined and found to be well, and rejoined the rest of his party at Gradbach to complete his expedition.
