Incident report

Buxton and Edale teams were called to assist two 25 year old males from Doncaster who had set off for a circular walk later than they had planned and had become very cold, wet and disorientated when the clag came down and the weather closed in. The pair were recovered very wet and cold, but otherwise uninjured, by one of the search dogs towards the top of Grindsbrook gorge. After some food and hot drink, along with the supply of some dry clothing, the pair were escorted from the hill where they were reunited with one of their parents.
