Incident report

Buxton and Edale teams following a request for assistance from a family of 4 from Long Eaton who had set off on a circular walk of the Southern Edges. The party became concerned when the weather closed in and their 1 year old became cold and unwell.  Telephone contact between the party and mountain rescue narrowed the potential search area down to above and East of Edale. After instructions from MR, the party were met descending into the Meadows above Edale by a Buxton section.  Having established that all members of the party were safe and well, the group was dropped at a place of safety to continue their holiday.
