Incident report

The ongoing winter conditions continued to cause chaos on minor roads when another five inches of snow fell overnight in the Peak District.  Buxton team was called toPillsbury call-out  Jan 15 assist a 68 year old gentleman from the remote hamlet of Pilsbury, near Hartington.  His 4 x 4 had become trapped in the snow and he then spent the next two hours sheltering in a barn.

The team responded with just two members in a Land Rover and managed to collect the gentleman and take him safely home.
