Incident report
On Saturday evening the Peak District Mountain Rescue Organisation received a
request for assistance following flash flooding in Stockport. The call out was to a multi agency incident where teams were asked to work alongside the fire and ambulance services in the Offerton area.
Qualified water rescuers from six Peak District teams, including Buxton, responded working for several hours checking on residents welfare and delivering sandbags as required.
