Incident report

Whilst dealing with the previous incident at The Roaches a call was received that a walker in Grin Low Country Park, Buxton, has sustained an injury.  Additional members were called out and others were diverted from The Roaches.  A walker had developed a hip problem whilst walking in the woods and was unable to continue.  The casualty was treated on site by East Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics before the team carried him to Pooles Cavern car park where the ambulance was waiting.
