Incident report
Buxton and Edale joint team snatch squad called to rendezvous at Fairholmes National Park Briefing Centre following the report of a 51 year old man having collapsed. The casualty, who was with a small group of friends, was very quickly located but despite the best attempts of team doctors to revive the man, the casualty was declared to have died at the scene.
The team extends its thanks to the walkers and others who had assisted prior to the arrival of team members. Our sincere condolences are offered to all the gentleman’s family and friends.

Thanks for trying to help Michael, your work is so important. Sending much love to all his family at this very sad time. Words are useless at a time like this but we are thinking of them all the time.
