A joint Edale & Buxton Mountain Rescue Teams’ 
snatch squad were called to attend a 62 year old lady who had slipped on a path between Eyam and Stoney Middleton.
The lady from London, visiting the area for the Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Buxton, sustained a suspected fracture of the ankle. She was treated on site by team first aiders before being carried to a waiting ambulance in Eyam.
