Incident report

A small number of members were asked to assist at the scene of a road traffic incident whereby a vehicle with three occupants had left the road in extreme weather conditions.
The incident occurred directly opposite the Cat & Fiddle pub and the landlord was able to assist with recovery of the vehicle using his own 4×4.  The car occupants were uninjured and recovered sufficiently after shelter in the pub to continue their journey.
Falling snow and freezing temperatures continued to be a hazard as team members escorted the vehicle towards Macclesfield.
